🚀 Our Journey So Far & Our Vision for 2026 🔭

Since launching Centre Court Chatter on October 29th, 2024, we've grown to a community of over 30,000 Chatters across our newsletter, Instagram, and TikTok platforms. We've received incredible support from the tennis community, earning interactions and follows from legends like Steffi Graf and Leander Paes, current stars like Emma Raducanu and Eva Lys, and collaborating with major tennis brands including crackedracquets, hiddengemstennis, and balanced tennis.
Thank you for trusting us to keep you informed about the sport we love with our unique humoristic and modern spin. As we step into 2026, we're excited to announce several new initiatives:
In Q1, we'll continue expanding our collaborations with major tennis brands and grow our merchandising presence. We're exploring expanding our apparel lineup beyond the hats we launched in Q4 2025. Check out the poll below to share what you'd like to see from our clothing line!
By Q2, we're launching a second account where you'll get a more personalized look at the faces behind Centre Court Chatter. Expect trivia challenges, street interviews with tennis fans, player rankings, behind-the-scenes content, and more interactive experiences. Stay tuned!
In Q3, we'll be expanding our popular trivia section. These interactive elements have become a cornerstone of our community engagement, and we're thrilled to enhance this experience with new and exciting features. More details will be provided closer to the launch date.
Of course, you can continue to count on our weekly newsletters and daily social media content to keep you connected with the tennis world.
Your voice matters to us. We'd love to hear your thoughts as we plan for the exciting year ahead.

🎯 New Year's Resolutions for Tennis's Biggest Stars 🎯

We decided to play fortune teller and write New Year's resolutions for some of the game's biggest stars. Whether they'll actually stick to them? That's above our pay grade.
Aryna Sabalenka needs to hire a new PR team before she goes viral for the wrong reasons again. The Belarusian is a beast on court but could use some guidance navigating the minefield of public relations and exhibition matches that keep landing her in the headlines for reasons that have nothing to do with tennis.
Jannik Sinner must work on his post-match celebrations because his emotional range currently goes from stoic to slightly less stoic. The Italian's robotic demeanor after winning massive titles makes us wonder if he's secretly enjoying himself or just calculating his next practice session while holding the trophy.
Coco Gauff should embrace being the villain sometimes. The 20-year-old has been tennis's sweetheart for years, but a little edge and controversy never hurt anyone. Let the inner competitor loose and stop worrying about what Twitter trolls think.
Novak Djokovic needs to play more doubles with Nick Kyrgios because their Brisbane bromance was seemingly the most fun he's had on court in years. The 38-year-old Serbian actually smiled, hit around-the-net winners, and showed off other trick shots we forgot he had in his bag.
Iga Swiatek should show more of her personality beyond the intense champion persona. We know she's funny and quirky from some occasional glimpses, so the Polish star should continue to let fans get to know the funny, amazing person behind the baseline dominance.
🎾 Weekly Roundup: Djokovic Exits PTPA 🎾

Novak Djokovic severed ties with the PTPA after "ongoing concerns regarding transparency, governance" and how his voice was represented. Novak co-founded the Professional Tennis Players Association with Vasek Pospisil in 2019, but announced his values "are no longer aligned with the current direction of the organization" after the PTPA filed an antitrust lawsuit against the ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA.
Emma Raducanu withdrew from her highly anticipated match with Naomi Osaka at the United Cup just hours before it began due to a lingering foot injury. Great Britain captain Tim Henman said Raducanu's status for the rest of the event was "up in the air."
The United Cup kicked off with dominant performances from top seeds as Alexander Zverev crushed Tallon Griekspoor 7-5, 6-0 to clinch Germany's tie, while Felix Auger-Aliassime and Victoria Mboko led Canada past China 3-0. The 18-year-old Mboko rallied from a set down to beat Lin Zhu 2-6, 6-2, 6-0, extending her strong form from 2025 into the new season.
Switzerland advanced to the United Cup quarter-finals after Belinda Bencic defeated Jasmine Paolini 6-4, 6-3 and partnered with Jakub Paul to win the deciding mixed doubles 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 over Italy. Stan Wawrinka fought valiantly in his second three-hour match in two days but lost to Flavio Cobolli 6-4, 6-7(2), 7-6(4) with a heartbreaking double-fault on match point.
Joao Fonseca withdrew from the Brisbane International with a lower back injury, delaying his 2026 debut. The 19-year-old Brazilian, who famously upset Andrey Rublev at the 2025 Australian Open in his major debut, is still entered in Adelaide and has time to prepare for Melbourne, where he'll look to build on last year's breakthrough.
